We Need Recycling Teams and Volunteers!

The Art City Austin 2010 Green Team is seeking non-profit groups to participate as recycling teams in this year's recycling event!  Art City 2010 is April 24th and 25th (Saturday and Sunday), with booths and vendors located along Cesar Chavez Street adjacent to Town Lake, approximately between Congress Avenue and Lamar.  

The goal of the competition is to collect the most recyclables, thus keeping Art City Austin 2010 a very green event. Teams of individual non-profit volunteers will compete to collect recyclables such as plates, napkins, etc., with prize money awarded to the teams collecting the most recyclables. The Volunteer Objectives and Contest Rules give an idea of what is expected of the recycling teams.

Please contact the Green Team Co-Chairs listed below as soon as possible if you are interested in participating in this year's great event!  You will gain exposure for your group, while keeping a great Austin event as green as possible.  We are available to meet to discuss any questions you may have.  Also, feel free to forward this on to any other non-profit groups that you know of who may be interested.
