Eastside Café is famous for its gorgeous vegetable and herb garden. Our garden is lovingly cared for using natural, non-chemical fertilizers and pest control methods. We compost 25 to 30 gallons of vegetable scrap from our prep kitchen each day keeping garbage out of the landfills and working in harmony with nature to fertilize our garden. To keep pests away naturally, we use companion planting methods, safer soap organic sprays, and even beer traps to trap pests like potato bugs.
